Snowy Morning

I love the snow until I have to drive in it. I captured these pictures yesterday morning before I left for work. I'm sure I looked like an idiot walking around the house in my robe opening windows to get these pictures. There was no way I was going to actually go outside!

Awesome Angles

These are some pictures I have taken over the past year. The first one is where my ring was sitting when I was proposed to. Yes..on a water spicket..in a greenhouse! But I loved the angle that I shot the picture. The picture of the cat on the yellow chair was taken in Colorado and the flower picture was taken at home. I have got to get out and take some recent shots! I'll try to post some from my photoshoot at Mrs. Ashworth's house later today!

No Film...More Time

I have been going through my pictures trying to find more to post. Then I realized I could be posting new pictures. Here is the problem...I forget to buy film everytime I go out and I have no time. Someday. I want to take August outside to take her picture in the leaves but I have no film. :(

Let's Go Big!!

This is my new logo. I created it in Photoshop. I didn't do AC because it will only change in 6 months and then I will be recreating the logo again. You will notice from now on that it will be posted in the bottom right hand corner of all of my pictures. I will change the color of it to better match the picture and not stand out. It is just a way to say that the picture is mine and it cannot be copyrighted. :) I love this business! Let me know if you'd like one of your initials Erin! I can create it in the same font so they look similar but are your own initials. I was SOO excited to get a call last night from Erin's daddy..Bill Weiler..asking if he could get a copy of my corn picture on my personal blog to hang in his office. That's exactly what Samantha and I were going to do with it, and this is the first picture that I have been able to apply my logo to because people actually want to display it! I'm not charging Bill or Samantha..because they are my first customers. But I really would like to start framing the pictures and selling them..like at art shows and Fall Festivals and such. So anyways..I was pumped last night! I know Erin and I can go big...because people love our pictures! Lets get this business rolling!

Black and Whites

I love the simplicity of a black and white photograph. It makes the viewer focus on the subject rather than being drawn to a color. You have to look beyond the picture to really see what it is about because without color, it tells a different story.

Cool Effects

I just wanted to post some of my pictures for you all to see. I love how the sun is glowing behind the twins. The clarity and closeness of the butterfly on the flower is so surreal. The old barn door handle is neat how the object closest to you is blurred and the center of the picture is in focus. I love my camera! I like to take random walks with my camera and find unusual things to photograph.
